Support tools were designed for teams. Queues, assignment rules, SLAs, roles and permissions, macros, escalations: all of it exists to coordinate ten people. When you are the only one answering, that machinery solves nothing and adds a problem of its own. Answerz is the SaaS Nova Studio built for the other case: one founder, several products, an inbox that keeps filling up.
In short
- The product: Answerz, a unified inbox for solo founders
- The observation: Classic helpdesks take longer to configure than the time they save
- The answer: Automatic triage, priority scoring and AI-drafted replies
- The impact: Product support handled in a few minutes a day, without leaving a single interface
1. The problem: a team tool for one person
A founder launching a product receives everything in the same place: a billing question, a blocking bug, a feature request, a simple thank you. It all lands in one inbox, in no particular order, and every message costs a decision.
Two options are available, and both are bad.
Adopt an off-the-shelf helpdesk: a day spent creating queues, tags, assignment rules and templates, for a tool sized for twenty agents. The monthly cost follows, and the interface stays built for a job the founder does not have.
Or stay in the inbox: nothing to configure, but nothing to triage either. Urgent requests sink between two newsletters, and replies go out whenever they go out.
Answerz aims at the space in between: the simplicity of an inbox, with just enough automation to stop deciding on every message.
2. What the product does
Automatic triage
Every incoming message is sorted on arrival, by product and by type of request. A founder running three projects sees immediately where a question comes from, without rereading it. Labels such as billing or refund apply themselves.
Priority scoring
Not all requests are equal. A customer locked out of their account does not queue behind a thank you note. The AI assesses urgency and impact, and surfaces what needs handling first. This is what replaces the mental triage done every time the inbox is opened.
Drafted replies
For each request, a draft is proposed, written from the context of the message and the history of the product. The founder reviews, adjusts, sends. Writing, which accounts for most of the time spent, becomes reviewing.
The rest of the day to day
A message that needs no immediate answer is snoozed and comes back at the right time. A handled conversation is marked resolved and leaves the view. Recurring wording goes into a template library. And a dashboard shows volumes and response times, so you know whether support is holding up or drifting.
3. The deliberate choice
Answerz is not a helpdesk, and does not try to be. No team management, no roles, no SLAs to configure, no twelve-step setup wizard. You connect an inbox, and the tool is usable.
The AI is not there to answer on the founder's behalf. It removes the repetitive decisions, the ones that cost attention without deserving it: which project this message belongs to, which one to handle first, how to open this reply. Anything requiring judgement, a commercial gesture or a product decision stays in their hands.
